Milan Milenkovic is a project leader in IBM’s Multimedia Networking Group in Boca Raton, FL. He is the architect and project leader of a multimedia prototype and testbed built to explore system design and high-speed conductivity issues in networked multimedia systems. Prior to joining IBM, Milenkovic was a faculty member at Southern Methodist University and at the University of Massachusetts. His research is on multimedia, operating systems, computer architecture, and distributed computing. His books include a monograph on concurrency control in distributed databases and an advanced college text, Operating Systems Concepts and Design.
