Description:

An educational video that includes a series of visualization animations showing interactions and evolutions of galaxy clusters. The first set depicts the collision and merging of two simulated galaxies designed to represent the Milky Way and Andromeda. The simulation follows over three million particles using a self-consistent field algorithm. A second group of ani-mations shows an N-body simulation of the evolution of 100 smaller disk galaxies into a cluster.
