Should reviewers be allowed to use LLMs to prepare their reviews? If so, what limits should be imposed on that use? What consequences should reviewers face for violating those limits? We’ve started to see instances of LLM use by SIGGRAPH reviewers (including to write entire reviews). Unlike some conferences, SIGGRAPH does not yet have a policy governing LLM use in reviewing. The purpose of this BoF is to facilitate discussion on this issue, with the goal of preparing policy recommendations for the SIGGRAPH Papers Advisory Group.
