Abstract:

This technical talk presents recent innovations in hardware and post-processing workflows from Corbel3D (Pixel Light Effects), aimed at advancing mobile photogrammetry and high-fidelity 4D scanning. Key developments include portable head scanners integrating white and UV light capture, multi-mode stacked acquisition methods, and high-speed SLR burst synchronization at 120fps. Improvements in power source buffering significantly reduce on-set energy demands, enabling rapid deployment of full-body mobile scanning systems. We will also explore emerging cross-industry applications in sports performance analysis and ergonomic movement research, highlighting the broader impact of high-resolution volumetric data capture.
