Abstract:

This course offers a comprehensive exploration of Modern Vulkan 1.4 features designed to empower developers with the knowledge to create efficient, high-performance rendering solutions. The course is divided into three focused modules covering the essentials of modern Vulkan, bindless rendering, and GPU algorithms implementation examples. Participants will gain exposure to real-world applications of modern Vulkan concepts, from dynamic rendering to ray tracing, and strategies to implement bindless on mobile devices.

Additional Information:

    Intermediate

Prerequisite: Basic Vulkan 1.0 or 1.1 knowledge. Basic 3D graphics knowledge.

    Topics: Games, GPU, Programming, Vulkan

List of topics and approximate times:

    3 parts, 30 minutes each:

      • 1st Part – Introduction to Modern Vulkan
      • 2nd Part – Synchronization Strategies in Vulkan
      • 3rd Part – Bindless Vulkan

Additional Info: This course covers modern Vulkan features, including the latest additions in Vulkan 1.4. Topics include dynamic rendering, synchronization strategies, streamlined subpasses, and bindless techniques. Through practical examples, participants will learn how to implement different rendering techniques.
