Three systems will be featured: IMAGES II+ , InstaMation and Trillium. IMAGES 11+ is a high-resolution electronic graphics system with applications that include reproduction quality presentation graphics, high-resolution illustration, photo retouching and broadcast quality video animation. InstaMation is a real-time animation system featuring video digitization, image retouching, genlock and digital chroma-key with external video sources. Trillium is a low-cost, high-performance, real-time 3-D visual simulation system.

INSTAMATION— Computer Graphics Lab, Inc. will exhibit its low-cost, real-time animation system. IMAGES II + — Computer Graphics Lab, Inc. also makes available ANIMATE! animation software, BIZVIZ business graphics and BIG N’ FAST with high-resolution rendering that can print industry device interfaces. TRILLIUM — Computer Graphics Lab, Inc.’s high-performance, low-cost visual simulation system also will be shown.

vCGL, Inc. introduces IMAGES II +, an enhanced performance computer-based artist workstation. A full-color graphics system, IMAGES II +, offers many new features: Full-color Scanning from video camera, or freeze frame video. Real-time Grab will grab a single frame of video from a VTR. Single Frame Record supports remote operation of the VTR. High Resolution Business Graphics and Text. High Resolution Rendering. Interpolation produces animated effects with business graphics and text. Output at resolutions of 512 to 4096.

IMAGES — Computer Graphics Lab, Inc., is currently offering a general purpose, computer- based electronic painting and graphic design system called IMAGES (Image Manipulation and Graphic Enhancement System). To date, the company has sold and installed over 30 systems to users in the broadcast teleproduction, corporate and education industries. TWEEN — Computer Graphics Lab, Inc., is also developing high-end, digital animation production systems for commercial applications. These include both two-dimensional electronic in- betweening and ink and paint capabilities, as well as three-dimensional modeling and three- dimensional key-frame animation systems. Both the 2-D and 3-D systems will be field upgradable from the basic IMAGES system.
