Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    This work presents a user interface for an outdoor augmented reality (AR) system , which is a digital 0 fieldwork assistant for archaeologists working on excavation sites. In Augmented Reality (AR) applications, 3D virtual objects are integrated into a real environment in real- time. Generally, the research groups working on AR focused on medical domain, cultural heritage, gaming, urban planning and military domain. Among these categories, outdoor applicable ones are the most challenging because of the unstable environmental conditions.
