Abstract:


    munica is a device to bring back a worthwhile family-like community that was centered on seniors, and was extensively spreading in the pre-modern society to our living room today. This type of community consists of not only relatives, but also neighbors or friends very close as a family was typical in old Japan, worth enough for all generation. There were deep cooperation between the members of this community, that grandparents contribute to the management of their children’s babies, or that children learn cardinal rules to live in human society like manners or spirit of mutual aid from watching the adults around. this provided a happiness to every member.

    Although an old man is weak in the use of communication technology of virtual reality, Following 3 ideas induces communication of seniors in virtual world such as presence share through a device.
