Abstract:

Can we choreograph sleep? Metempsychosis refers to the migration of the soul, often manifested in movement. This talk by multimedia artist and Harvard graduate student Yiou Wang focuses on research-based media x performance project Morphai which metempsychotically animates a sleeper’s alter ego through augmented cognition, data-driven avatar system, and performance.
