What is the money used for?
Sponsor the Development of the SIGGRAPH Archives
- Hiring students to help with scanning documents, cataloging, and entering information into the SIGGRAPH archives. Students will also do imaging and design work to clean up old scans, design icons, develop UI/UX elements, and create PDFs. We have thousands of documents that need scanning and cleanup.
- Hiring student programmers to develop the online SIGGRAPH archives. We need export and visualization code written and lots of UI elements to be added.
- Travel costs to send archivists to SIGGRAPH to document and collect materials.
- Video editing of interviews of computer graphics pioneers.
- Other miscellaneous expenses, including but not limited to, purchasing scanners, shipping, etc.

Tax Deductions
Donations will be directed to the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and will be routed to the SIGGRAPH History Committee to use to develop the ACM SIGGRAPH History Archives. ACM is a 501 (c)(3). Discuss possible tax deductions with your tax consultant.
