Bio:

    Yunyu is an award-winning multi-instrumental, musically versatile composer and music technologist. She is a graduate of the prestigious AFTRS screen music Grad Dip course (Australian Film Television and Radio School) , and a current PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney on a Dolby-U.T.S. scholarship researching Spatial Audio and mapping game quests onto space-time adaptive music recordings. Yunyu’s accolades include winning the Crystal Pine Award for Best Original Score at the International Sound Film Music Festival in 2015. Yunyu began her career winning Triple J’s Unearthed as a singer-songwriter. She has since expanded her creative scope, composing in films, games and installations. Recent work highlights include: commissioned works from Taikoz where she wrote a real-time generated piece for the newly released electronic taiko Roland Taiko-1. She is showcased her works at the prestigious Ars Electronica Festival in Austria, Linz.
