About Xuanyang Huang

Bio

Xuanyang is a Ph.D. student at HKUST(GZ) and an artist based in Guangzhou, China. His practice-based research explores the critical and creative potentials of AI in art and narratives. As an artist, his artworks have been exhibited internationally, and he is a finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize (23’24 edition). Xuanyang previously served as a lecturer in Art and Technology at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts. His artistic research has also been presented at conferences such as ISEA and xCoAx.
