Xuan Tien (Tim) Pham is a PhD candidate at the Empathic Computing Laboratory (ECL) based at the University of South Australia. His research focuses on enhancing cognitive and affective empathy through haptic feedback in virtual reality. Tim has a background as a Software Engineer, specializing at developing games and XR applications. He dreams to experience the world of Sword Art Online one day in his lifetime. In his free time, Tim loves anime and playing games, especially Riichi Mahjong. It’s clear that Japan is like heaven for him.
