SIGGRAPH Asia 2024

Xiangrong Xiao, Director, choreographer, professor, dean of the School of Arts and Media and director of the Art and Technology Innovation Center at Beijing Normal University. He has been engaged in stage performance creation research and large-scale cultural arts practice for many years, and has undertaken the task of creating and directing major national celebrations for many times. He was the chief director of the Tiananmen Square Parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the core creator and chief director of the indoor version of the G20 Opening Ceremony, and the core creator of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He has been praised by the media as “a cross-border leader with international vision, local awareness and contemporary aesthetics in the field of art innovation and art education”.
