Taishi Sawabe received his B.E. in biomimetics robots from Ritsumeikan University in 2014, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Nara, Japan, in 2019 with a focus in autonomous vehicles with passenger comforts. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the IMD-Lab at NAIST. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Information Science, NAIST, Japan. He is also the CEO of the startup company Amirobo Tech Inc. His research interests include human-robot interaction, human comforts, and autonomous vehicles.
