Bio

SIGGRAPH Asia 2025

Completed Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in 2016. Focusing on the relationship between human imagination, visual devices, and technology, he creates installations and performances in a style in which he physically intervenes and modulates the mechanisms of projection devices and creates images by modifying everyday objects. He also creates artworks using deep learning and performs live as Ai.step, a live coding unit that collaborates with AI. Major awards include CVPR 2024 AI Art Gallery the best works award, the Digital Choc Award 2019 Grand Prize and the Yamanashi Media Arts Award 2021 Excellence Prize. Recent international festivals he has participated in include FILE 2025 (Sao Paulo, Brazil), MUTEK Montréal Édition 21 (Montréal, Canada) and Scopitone 2019 (Île de Nantes, France).
