Ryo Hajika is a postgraduate certificate student in Engineering and a research internship at the Empathic Computing Laboratory, the University of Auckland, under the supervision of Professor Mark Billinghurst. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Engineering at the Ritsumeikan University, Japan. His research interest is rooted in the human-computer interaction design to enhance people’s communication; especially VR/AR technique and physiological sensing. He also interested in media art and has working experience as a designer or a software engineer for several installations.
