Roly Elias is an audio engineer, sound designer and technologist born in Bolivia. He designed, created and mixed sound for Prison X. He specializes in live music, immersive and interactive experiences. In 2020 He established Radical Media in Sydney, Australia. “It’s not about just hearing, but feeling it through your ears.” Roly worked Front of House (FOH) for Genesis Owusu and Thandi Phoenix touring Australia, France, UK and the USA. He records and mixes live performance for broadcast such as MTV’s ‘TRL’. In 2017-2018 he toured with UK’s Aled Jones across Australia. In 2017 he was FOH for Paco Peña’s Australian tour. In 2016 he was FOH engineer touring with ‘Americo’ a 16th piece band. Roly has worked FOH with Sampa the Great, REMI, Thelma Plum, James Morrison (trumpeter) and Jessica Mauboy among many others. Roly has a degree in Creative Arts from Macquarie University and Audio Engineering from SAE.
