SIGGRAPH Asia 2023

Prasanth joined the Augmented Human Lab at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Research Fellow. With a strong focus on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), Prasanth’s research interests revolve around exploring the potential of these immersive technologies. His expertise lies in leveraging multimodal input and remote collaboration to enhance user experiences in AR and VR environments. Prasanth completed his PhD, investigating the utilization of multimodal input for remote collaboration using AR and VR. Prior to that, he earned a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from HIT Lab NZ, where he studied the use of haptics in immersive environments.

SIGGRAPH Asia 2019

Prasanth Sasikumar is a Ph.D. candidate at the Empathic Computing Laboratory, The University of Auckland, New Zealand, under the supervision of Prof. Mark Billinghurst. His research topic revolves around multimodal input in remote collaboration and dense scene reconstruction. Prior to this, he worked as an XR Developer at JIX, and as a software developer at IBS, India with a total of around 3 years of industry experience. He obtained his masters from HITLab NZ at Unversity of Canterbury under the supervision of Prof Rob Lindeman in 2018.
