Hi! I’m Nour EL ACHKAR, ex-software engineer who decided to replace her keyboard with a drawing tablet instead. Tracing the origins of my love for animation is quite the challenge. As far as I know, I was always fascinated with animated characters and the stories they could tell. This fascination later turned into joy for creation. Armed with just paper and pen, I discovered an endless world of storytelling possibilities, allowing me to enchant and captivate others. I fell in love with all the steps of an animation production! My only criteria is to work on anything that gets my brain cogs turning! I had the opportunity to work on many festival trailers such as the 2024 edition of Beirut Animation Nights and the 2022 edition of Cinemed, and I most recently co-directed the short movie Entre Eux Deux.
