About Ming-Huang Lin

Bio

SIGGRAPH Asia 2025

Dr. Ming Huang Lin is the Dean of the College of Design at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. He received his PhD from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in 1999. Dr. Lin’s research interests include design semiotics, the application of new materials, production technology, and various quantitative and qualitative research methods. Recently, he has published several papers related to or integrating various “novel design research tools,” such as event-related potentials (ERPs), eye tracking, grounded theories in design cognition research, and virtual reality (VR) and generative design software for design practice.
