JP Ahonen (1981) is a comic book artist, illustrator, and the author of several newspaper strips in his native Finland. He is best known for his black metal mockumentary Belzebubs, which has garnered widespread acclaim for its dark humor and relatability within the heavy metal subculture and beyond. With an impressive body of work spanning various mediums, Ahonen continues to push boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on the worlds of comics, music, and the occult. JP is currently working on the second Belzebubs LP, developing an animated series with Pyjama Films and Finland?s national broadcaster YLE, and getting Belzebubs band back on the road.
