Joseph Ardizzone is a software Engineer and assistant researcher for satellite data utilization with emphasis on remotely sensed ocean surface winds and observing system simulation studies. With over 30 years of experience in geophysical validation, assimilation and evaluation of satellite Earth observations for climate studies and improved weather prediction, Joe is a multi-disciplined software developer with expertise in data visualization and analysis, object oriented design and advanced information systems technology. https://gmao.gsfc.nasa.gov/
