Irmandy Wicaksono is a hybrid electronic/textile engineer, artist, and designer. He earned his S.M. and PhD in Media Arts and Sciences at MIT and an M.Sc. ETH in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at ETH Zurich. His work integrates electronic devices into textiles and soft materials across scales, for applications ranging from physiological sensing, human-computer interaction, space exploration, to the interactive arts.
