When I started to study animation, I grew fond of the 2D technique. I always had a sensibility for minimalism when it came to art. 2D had a way of showing character, background and animating then that let the place to show emotions. What matters, let’s say. However I choose 3D. It is such an interesting technique, a tool yet to discover its full potential. I studied for 5 years at l?Ecole des Nouvelles Images, at Avignon, France. I learned to create realistic objects, realistic lighting, and to render them ? And then, I decided to dissect every aspect that I learned to recreate a style that I had in my own drawings. Papa Bouteille is inspired by a personal story. I chose to tell it as true as emotions can remember.
