SIGGRAPH 2025

Eric Handman is a choreographer and Associate Professor at the University of Utah’s School of Dance. His research explores dancer-drone interactivity, choreographic thinking in live dance, virtual reality, and games. Supported by the University of Utah and Virginia Tech, he has received awards for excellence in research and choreography. A Fulbright Specialist, he has served on the editorial board for Ground Works, the publication of The Alliance for Arts in Research Universities (a2ru), and is on the board of SALT Contemporary Dance. He was a Celebrate U honoree and a winner of the Northwest Dance Project’s 2014 International Choreographic Competition.
