Brook Vann is a doctoral candidate and interdisciplinary artist in the Critical Media Practices program at CU Boulder. Brook’s research and creative work explore the intersections of gender, queerness, and technology, using motion-capture, sound, and data analysis to reveal the nuanced interplay between body, space, and movement in shaping gendered experiences. With a focus on the American South, Brook reimagines the relationship between technology, gender, and culture, envisioning new possibilities and understanding in this realm.
