Benjamin Seide is researching in the field of animation and immersive media. In the 1990s, Seide shot his first interactive 360˚ film with a self-developed camera. His work as a visual effects artist from the 2000s contributed to Art House and Hollywood films, including Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo”. His recent projects investigate artistic interpretation of cultural heritage in immersive media, including the full-dome installation “Homage à Fellini”, the 360˚ film “Secret Detours”, the VR installation “Gone Garden” and “Spirit of Pontianak. Seide is teaching courses in visual effects and immersive experiences at the School of Art, Design and Media in Singapore.
