With over 14 years in the animation industry, Abhishek Kumar has held diverse roles, including Technical Artist, CHF Lead, Technical Director, and Show Supervisor. Currently, as Head of Pipeline at Xentrix Studios, he specializes in streamlining workflows and ensuring creative excellence. For Max & the Midknights, Abhishek oversaw show production and defined the Unreal Engine workflow, seamlessly bridging the creative and technical aspects. His focus is on optimizing pipelines, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality projects.
SIGGRAPH Asia 2018
Abhi Kumar has always been driven by the desire to create cutting edge visual stories. While studying in the US his play, End of the Rainbow won the University of Michigan’s prestigious Hopwood Award for creative writing, which is judged by a panel of national judges. Since then Abhi has written for the stage and television. He has also written and directed multiple short films that have won numerous awards in the festival circuit. As co-founder and Chief Creative Director of Warrior9 VR, Abhi continues his work on the cutting edge by creating Augmented and Virtual Reality narrative experiences.
