Bio
SIGGRAPH 2025
Dr. Guodong Rong received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Shandong University, and his Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore. He is currently a software engineer at Meta Reality Labs as the tech lead of VR compositor. He has over 20 years of experience in graphics and VR related areas in both academia and industry. Before joining Meta, he has worked in NVIDIA, Samsung, Google, Huawei, Baidu, and LG as a software engineer, and in University of Texas at Dallas as a postdoc researcher. His research interests include computer graphics, VR/AR, computational geometry, and autonomous driving simulation.
