Abstract:


    Learn how the iconic images from the James Webb Space Telescope are produced. This course will provide some background on the Space Telescope Science Institute and NASA’s newest flagship observatory, the James Webb Space Telescope. You’ll learn some basic principles of image processing for astronomy and we’ll provide detailed information on obtaining and working with publicly available data from the observatory so that you can create your own versions of these iconic images.
