Integrating Independent Contributions in a Game Programming Assignment

Session/Category Title:   Educator's Forum

Abstract:

For game development majors, mastering data structures and algorithms (DSA) is essential. However, in traditional DSA and programming courses, assignments prioritize individual efforts, which diverge from the collaborative nature of game development. Our approach promotes distributed collaboration in individual assignments, simulating aspects of team dynamics without a formal team structure.
