Title:
- Efficient Debris-flow Simulation for Steep Terrain Erosion
Presenter(s)/Author(s):
Abstract:
Debris flows ? flowing mixtures of mud and rock triggered by extreme climatic events ? have a strong erosive effect, especially on steep slopes. We propose a new formulation and GPU algorithm for the unified modeling of fluvial and debris flow erosion, demonstrating distinct erosion and deposition patterns.
