Abstract:

At Electronic Arts (EA), our guiding principle of “We see farther” has always motivated us to push the limits and explore new possibilities in computer games. This vision drives SEED (Search for Extraordinary Experiences Division) – a pioneering group within Electronic Arts – we combine creativity with applied research.
A key part of SEED’s mission involves building and maintaining partnerships with academic institutions and developing talent in the field. In this talk we about our ecosystems of academia and institutional partners for inspiration and synergy, to push cutting-edge research and build early-career talent – driving the future of interactive entertainment. We will show how we engage with the academic community and demonstrate different research collaborations. This collaborative approach enriches both the academic community and the gaming industry, enhancing creativity and keeping us at the cutting edge of evolving the area.
