The Open Review Initiative is an Academy Software Foundation (ASWF) project focused on collaborative, high-quality review tools and interoperability in media and entertainment. Join teams from Autodesk, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Imagineering, DNEG, Sony Imageworks, Netflix Animation Studios, and more for updates and roadmap discussions. Topics include OTIO-based annotation and sync protocols, RPA API development, and OpenAPV usage with a comparison to HTJ2K. Highlights feature OpenRV and X-Studio town hall recaps, tool showcases, and the X-Studio 1.0 release. This session is part of Open Source Days, a full day of open source BoFs hosted by ASWF.
