Description:

MÉTA INSTRUMENT n°4 Digital at your fingertips The Méta-Instrument N°4 is the latest generation of computer-assisted musical instrument designed by PUCE MUSE. Developed in collaboration with Catherine Hospitel, Dominique Brégeard and Jérémie Gaston-Raoul, the Méta-Instrument 4 is made entirely by 3D printer. Méta-Instrument n°4 is a man/machine interface that reconciles the refinement of hand and touch with digital technology. It enables music and image to be played in real time, with a new virtuosity. It offers a major innovation: a refined and highly precise measurement of touch and hand movements to enable a new virtuosity of digital performance. It is designed for anyone – amateur or. professional musicians, people with reduced mobility, performers using digital technology in real time… Each person can adapt their instrumental configuration to their needs, gestural possibilities and means. From immediate practice to expert gesture, it enables you to build and develop your musical practice.
