Description:

Hop Step Sing! is a VR idol project launched in 2016 with the concept of “idols you can meet in VR space”. Its latest work, “Everywhere!”, is the eighth in the series of interactive music videos. The feature of this work is that it is compatible with Meta Quest3 standalone and is the first in the series to implement a pass-through function. This technological innovation has created a groundbreaking experience as if the idol is actually visiting the viewer’s room. The technical innovation is that the content uses instant spatial recognition by a 3D scanning system. This makes it possible to: – Identify the area where the idol can move – Detect interference with furniture – Recognize walls where monsters appear , allowing the idol to move around naturally while recognizing real space. This technological advancement has successfully demonstrated the high affinity between idol content and XR technology, making fans’ dreams of “their idols coming to their rooms” a reality.
