“Course Reception”

Cajun & Creole Queen Paddleboats and New Orleans International Cruiseship Terminal Open to Conference and Courses Passport attendees. Join the festive SIGGRAPH 96 New Orleans street parade! At 7:45 pm, the New Orleans Police Department, a high school marching band, and a host of revelers escort Course Reception attendees from outside the New Orleans Marriott on Canal Street to the Cajun & Creole Queen Paddleboats. For attendees who cannot join the parade, shuttles are available directly to the paddleboats. For shuttle information, see page 65. A Course Reception ticket is required for entry and includes two drink tickets for beer, wine, or soft drinks. Hors d’oeuvres stations are available throughout both paddleboats and the terminal. Tickets for the Course Reception are included with the registration materials for Courses and Conference Passports. Tickets can also be purchased at SIGGRAPH 96 onsite registration, at the merchandise counter in Hall D, and at the entrance to the cruiseship terminal at the reception.
