INFORMAP is an interactive, computer assisted mapping system with a geographic data based management capability. INFORMAP, tailored specifically for the utility and municipal agency market place, is provided on a turnkey basis, including training, warranty, maintenance, installation and continuing software update. The overall system, in terms of hardware, consists of multiple Synercom manufactured graphics terminals, a DEC PDP 11 / 34 or 11 /70 based central processor, and a variety of plotters and peripheral output devices. Software packages include the interactive map creation software, high precision coordinate geometry, design/drafting features and data based management.
