INTELLECT is an intelligent television system for the electronic generation and processing of pictures. INTELLECT is equally applicable in the field of synthetic pictures. These may be drawn by the computer, as in the case of pattern generation and graphics applications, or derived from an alternative source of signal, as in the case of spectrum analysis or radar processing. INTELLECT, therefore, whether as a research tool or as an item of processing equipment in its own right, offers a new dimension to those customers who process, analyze, draw or synthesize images across the spectrum, from x-rays to sound waves.
