Media Cybernetics exhibits the Image analysis and enhancement software: Image-Pro/Sun, UNIX-based processing on the Sun-4; Image-Pro Color, 24-bit color and multi-spectral processing on the ATVista board; HALO Window Toolkit, versatile windowing tools for developing graphical user interfaces; and Publishers Partner, a revolutionary gray-scale image editor for producing darkroom quality images.

Media Cybernetics develops graphics and imaging software. The company will present sophisticated high-resolution and color image processing software: and popular HALO ’88 based graphics packages: Halovision, a vision product, Dr. HALO 111, a paint program, and HALO DPE for desktop publishing.

SIGGRAPH 1987

Media Cybernetics will demonstrate their HALO- based microcomputer graphics and imaging software: Image-Pro, HALO DPE (Desktop Publishing Editor), Dr. HALO II and Nimbus. The “New Technology” section will highlight R&D efforts in advanced color printing techniques, raster editing and scanning of A-E size documents, and a variable cache virtual page management.

Media Cybernetics will demonstrate a complete line of PC-based software including Image-Pro and Dr. Halo DPE (Desktop Publishing Edition). Image-Pro is a complete image processing and graphics software system to analyze, enhance, manipulate, store and retrieve images from photographs, X-rays, satellite images and real scenes. Dr. Halo DPE is the newest software solution for merging text and graphics to produce high quality output.
