Tom DeFanti, Chair of SIGGRAPH 1979, is interviewed by Pioneers Chair Ed Kramer. Many other Conference Chairs discussing their particular year’s conference are also available on the SIGGRAPH YouTube channel. The ongoing effort to chronicle each year of the SIGGRAPH conference was started for the 50th anniversary conference in 2023, from a suggestion by Scott Owen.
