Community Overview:

SIGGRAPH is the largest of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) special interest groups (SIGs). With a focus on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, the annual SIGGRAPH conferences showcase creative and technical achievements in the interdisciplinary and diverse fields of computer graphics. The conferences are hosted in North America and Asia and attract academics, artists, researchers, practitioners, and other community members interested in all aspects of computer graphics.

The ACM SIGGRAPH community is a global nonprofit organization serving the evolution of computer graphics and interactive techniques. With thousands of members across the world, the researchers, artists, developers, filmmakers, scientists, and business professionals of ACM SIGGRAPH are building the future of digital art and interactive design.

The organization is managed by an Executive Committee with nine elected directors and two appointed members. Each year, the directors select officers, chair, chair-elect, treasurer and treasurer-elect.

Members of the Executive Committee are primarily responsible for oversight and strategic planning for ACM SIGGRAPH. They also serve as liaisons to the organization’s standing committees, lead strategy teams and conference advisory groups.
