Artist Statement:


    Containing Birth_I II III & Green Bottles / Those artworks show an abnormal usage of containers because my visual massages are intended to express other way of thinking in our mind. The curve lines and streamlined shapes from a perfume bottle remind me a kind of feminine qualities. Also, This metaphor of bottle alludes to women’s womb containing the orange-yellow colored embryo things. In a word, fertilizes egg has been implanted in womb. Visual iconic images denote finally falling out of there to give a birth. To an effective symbols and expressions, I worked by processing of mixed media collage after mono printmaking for subtle visual colors and texturing.

    Flaneurs’ odd traveling / My art works make a composite a photographic montage of city landscape with the symbolic images, winding lines, and calm colors. I try to express the images about a strange feeling and an odd landscape in the view point of Flaneurs. My visual texts in the Flaneurs’ odd traveling contain a complete philosophical and esthetical way of our urban life. In these artwork, I eliminated the person
