Artist Statement:


    phenomenon / Limitless visual representation of a limited time and space. Film space is referring to the spatial dynamics inherent in the film frame. Individual frame is both a static and part of moving picture of personal inner/outer conflicts.

    dance / Audience’s images illustrated by the circles are symbolic expression about monad what constructed world. This work tried to show organic relationship between monads from moving circle. Moreover, this shed new light on significance of audience’s actual participation through action related circles. With collaboration : Jaesun Yun

    stOp / This work is a mirror to see themselves in the virtual reality representation of a person. Originally, media art works have a purpose to stimuli an audience’s eye and induce his response, thus this work represent a direct instruction as its title and lead to reaction from audience’s backlash about a title. This induces from a non-stoppable audience’s action to an active motion, and auditory stimulation manufactured by audience’s reaction represents a virtual reality that is not limited in a visual world.
