Description:

In a hospital, a man falls into a coma. Corridor is a short-fi lm wholly made in 20 days by 3 students in Arts et Technologies de l’Image (University Paris 8). Music by Vincent Girès. We’ve choosen to focus our work on a delicate topic, coma, and we desired to mainly visualy treat it. The black rising and then imploding crystals represent the lost of his environment consciousness. In this short animation the technic challenge was to give the visual density of a large amount of crystals emerging from the walls and the ground. To attained this eff ect we employed three diff erent strategies in our simulations: particles, rigid simulation and procedural animation.
