Conference:

Description:

One dancer, one body, one phone. In a time of collective alienation and technological mass control, one woman rediscovers her soul and reclaims her mind.

Additional Information:

Shot on iPhone and constructed entirely from the artist’s body, Corpus and the Wandering features approximately 50,000 meticulously arranged video layers. The film merges choreography, cinematography, compositing, and stop-motion, forming a 100-square “videomosaic,” a term Jo Roy coined to describe her moving photomosaic technique.
