Abstract:
Walt Disney Feature Animation (WDFA), historically the home of hand drawn animation, expanded its focus on 3D in late 2001. This change encompassed the cultural and artistic legacy of the studio and was conducted during 2002/3. The core of this shift was made on ”Chicken Little” where half the crew came from traditional 2D animation skill sets with minimum computer experience being the group norm.
