The Invitation
The Invitation is a Universities Pavillion which will be placed within the exhibition area of SIGGRAPH Asia 2010. Nineteen representative universities in Asia (thirteen from Korea, six from out of Korea) are invited to show their wonderful work in Art and Technology. The Invitation is expected to complement the Art Gallery and E-Tech Programs which are unfortunately not included in this year’s conference. We so call this is real “Digital heartbeat” from intelligent young Koreans.
Show Case is the space for letting people take a glance of the work of about a hundred remarkable artists and engineers in Asia. Each participating artist/engineer is asked to summarize (using images rather than words) her/his work in two pages, and those hard copies are installed in a room within The Invitation section. Show Case is intended to solicit collaboration between Art and Technology. The Show Case works will be published into a volume and will be handed out to the visitors during the conference.
