Chris Copeland & Justin Copeland are the writers/directors of the animated short-film, “Wednesdays with Gramps.” They are also the creative duo behind a number of original animated films and series. The brothers have cultivated a prolific portfolio as celebrated creators in the animation industry as storyboard artists, directors, and producers. Currently, they are in development on an animated feature film for Laika Studio. While their resumes closely mirror each other, they have separately established themselves on a number of high-profile titles with Chris directing on DreamWorks Animation’s Emmy, GLAAD and NAACP-nominated series Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts, and Justin having directed the DC original films Wonder Woman: Bloodlines and Batman: Hush. Together, they worked within the DC Universe as storyboard artists on a host of original animated films and series including The Death and Return of Superman, Marvel’s animated Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Assemble series, and more.
